NEW FORMAT FOR 2020 EVENTS

​

All tournament weekends shall consist of three matches, with Match One Universal Trench 150, plus two others of varying disciplines. All matches shall present 1st-3rd place ‘Off The Gun’ winners, and 1st-6th place ‘Handicap’ (by targets in) winners. (No grade or categories) A weekend three match High-Gun shall also be presented to the outright top score combined.

2021 NEW ZEALAND NATIONAL TEAM QUALIFYING

​

The six events within the 2020 calendar year will form the qualifying opportunities for 2021 national teams for both Trans-Tasman, and World Championships. Ranking lists shall be established using the FITASC ‘percentage’ method, taking your top 3 percentages out of any of the 6 events. No events are compulsory, any 3 out of 6 will give a ranking number.

Team categories are; Juniors (U21), Ladies, Men/Open (21-55), Seniors (56-65) Veterans (incl. Masters) (66-onwards)

2020 UTNZ INC. NEW ZEALAND NATIONAL SERIES CHAMPION

​

For the first time we shall be presenting a new trophy to the National Series Champion. The Champion shall be crowned from a total of 400 possible points (four percentage scores). Consisting of the top 3 percentage scores from the first 5 events of the series, with at least one score from a North Island event, and at least one score from a South Island event. Plus the Grand Finale event, being compulsory.

NORTH/SOUTH CARLEY CUP

​

South Island shall defend the Cup at their final home event of the year at Canterbury CTC in August. Teams are determined at the conclu- sion of the UT event by selecting five scores from each island, with each team including at least one B grade, and one C grade score.
