MATCH ONE

FITASC Universal Trench 150 - Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th, 75 targets per day + Shoot offs Sunday

Entry - $100 (Discounted to $94 with pre-registration and online payment + pick squad & start time)

 

MATCH TWO

DTL Handicap by Distance - Saturday 28th, 75 targets, alternating with UT rounds + Shoot offs

Entry - $55 (Discounted to $48 with pre-registration and online payment)

 

MATCH THREE

Continental Trap 50 - Sunday 29th, 50 targets, alternating with UT + Shoot offs

Entry - $45 (Discounted to $40 with pre-registration and online payment)

EVENT INFORMATION

FRIDAY 27TH

INTRODUCTION TO UT & PRACTICE SESSION - From 1pm we'll be offering an introduction to the UT discipline, covering feet position, initial aim points, gun hold on trap etc, to get those new to the discipline off on the right path. Practice will run through to 4pm, maybe a little longer.

 

MATCHES ONE & THREE SHALL PRESENT 1st-3rd ‘OFF THE GUN’ AND 1st-6th ‘HANDICAP’ WINNERS

OFF THE GUN - Gold/Silver/Bronze to top three outright scores. Ties shoot off to discipline rules.
HANDICAP - By targets in. Awarding 1st to 6th places. Targets in are based on recorded Universal and DTL grades/percentages as appropriate. Ties shoot off. Targets in are calculated over full match, and any targets above possible score are carried over into shoot offs. Once any carried over targets are exhausted, shoot offs are first miss & out.

MATCH TWO - DTL HANDICAP BY DISTANCE SHALL PRESENT 1st-6th

HANDICAP - By outright score from open handicap by distance meterage to NZCTA rules. Any ties for top six places shoot off, first miss & out.

Shooters without a rule off in any of the disciplines are welcome and encouraged to enter where a starting Handicap shall be determined off known ability in other disciplines. Refer www.universaltrench.co.nz/event-rules for further information.

OFF THE GUN - Presented to outright top score from three matches of weekend

Off the Gun scores recorded in categories using UTNZ percentage method for 2021 National Team selection table: Juniors (U21), Ladies, Men/Open (21-55), Seniors (56-65) Veterans (incl. Masters) (66-onwards)
