FITASC Universal Trench 150 - Monday 2nd & Tuesday 3rd, 75 targets per day + Shoot offs Sunday

FEES
A one off, full weekend, compulsory fee for NZCTA levies and ground fees of $18 is payable in addition to entry fee(s) above.

IMPORTANT
If entries are 36 or below, we will run all events by traditional squad method. If UT entries exceed 36 shooters up to the maximum of 54 entries, all three matches will be run by FITASC In-line method. Online entries will be conducted by shooters selecting their preferred 'group' of shooter number, where the in-line order for the UT will be groups 1,3, 5, 7, 9, 2, 4, 6, 8. The approximate order for Compak/Trap1 will be groups 2, 4, 6, 8, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 with the finalised start list to be publicised within the week or event start. For any shooters wanting to shoot entire 400 target weekend (all three matches) Management of adequate time slots shall be the responsibility of shooters. The in-line/squad list for UT is essential for timing, and 50 targets of Trap1 shall be undertaken by shooters at a time slot that suits, but as early in the day as possible.

EVENT INFORMATION
UT, COMPAK AND TRAP1 MATCHES SHALL AWARD 1st-3rd ‘OFF THE GUN’ WINNERS, AND 1st-10th ‘HANDICAP’ WINNERS
OFF THE GUN - Gold/Silver/Bronze to top three outright scores. Ties shoot off to discipline rules.
HANDICAP - by targets in. Awarding 1st to 10th places. Targets in are based on recorded Universal, Compak and DTL percentages for the respective UT, Compak and Trap1 events. Ties shoot off. Targets in are calculated over full match, and any targets above possible score are carried over into shoot offs. Once any carried over targets are exhausted, shoot offs are first miss & out.
Shooters without a rule off in the relevant discipline are welcome and encouraged to enter where a starting Handicap shall be determined off known ability in other disciplines.

CATEGORIES UNIVERSAL TRENCH
OFF THE GUN - Winners in all FITASC individual categories in UT acknowledged and awarded with Kilwell vouchers.

WEEKEND 2 MATCH OVERALL HIGHGUN
OFF THE GUN - Outright top score from the UT and Compak matches combined shall be presented with the Stuart Mackie Memorial Cup. (If two or more shooters finish on an equal score, then a shoot off shall be conducted over 10 targets of Compak + 10 targets of Universal Trench, with a result determined after the 20 targets have been completed. If no results is achieved then the shoot off will be repeated.)

$5,070 in Kilwell Vouchers presented to winners and place getters in all events; UT, Compak and Trap1 matches.
Plus over $1,100 value of Fiocchi ammunition presented to winners and place getters in UT.

NEW ZEALAND NATIONAL RANKING LIST
Off the Gun scores recorded in categories using UTNZ percentage method for National Ranking list: Juniors (U21), Ladies, Men (21-55), Seniors (56-65) Veterans (incl. Masters) (66-onwards) as per FITASC rules.

NATIONAL SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT
Event is part of the National Series Championship 2023 for both Overall and Handicap champions. See details here.

UT, and Trap1 practice will be available at the club from 12pm on Sunday 1st January. Pay directly to club office for practice.

CATERING
​
Hawke's Bay CTC will be organising catering for Monday and Tuesday of competition, so please make the most of it and support the caterers on site.
